Exchange rates
A reference exchange rate answers a currency question. A money transfer answers a different one: how much the recipient may actually receive. TakaCompare is being built around that second question. Live provider quotes are not available yet. The pages below are reference rates for the US dollar, the British pound, the Saudi riyal, and the euro, each against the Bangladeshi taka.

Reference exchange rate
A published currency rate from a named public source. It is not a remittance quote.

Provider transfer rate
The rate a money-transfer provider applies to a specific send amount. It can differ from the reference rate.

Fees and conditions
The transfer fee, the payout method, and who is eligible for a promotion all change the result.

Amount the recipient may receive
The taka left after those pieces, including any Bangladesh incentive that actually applies to that transfer.
